Really I mean really What's that about any way. Water really doesn't or shouldn't have a taste. If it does then that's an entire other blog post from someone else. Drink water, it does the body good.It's that time of year when choices at meal time quadruple due to everyone bringing a dish. And wouldn't you know it Aunt Bertha brought your favorite as did 3 others. You know you can't have your regular portion size so may I recommend a new way of "having it all". Instead of using the big serving spoon in the dish use a teaspoon and serve a teaspoon amount so you can taste it and relish the favors. Then find the leanest protein source and dark green vegetables and take a healthy serving unless covered in no no's. Pick half a roll or piece of good bread just half. No gravies and on salads oil and balsamic vinegar only and no creamy dressings.

Savor each bite. Take a bite, sit the fork down. Chew completely. Talk and see how everyone's day/month/year is going. Wait 20 minutes after you finish eating and if you are still hungry go back. But only if you are hungry. Start with protein then pick 1 or 2 of those favorites to revisit. Same small serving. No bread this time out.
