An Excellent Reason to Use Solar Powered Lighting

Did you know that electric lighting currently consumes one fifth of all electricity? One fifth... just for lights! That's an awful lot when you think about it. What is even worse is that this is only part of the problem.

In your own home, you can adopt a two pronged attack. Firstly, if you haven't already switched over to compact fluorescent lights, you should. However, there is an even better solution than that. LED lighting has made big strides over the past twelve months, and while the cost is still a little high, the consumption is much less.
