ADHD Symptoms - InformationPosted on Aug 14, 2020 | Hits: 207 | Stock No: #56406
Society believes that ADHD is a new Meridian Health Protocol Review disorder, but it was actually first recognized in 1845. The fact that ADHD is now diagnosed much more frequently than 20 years ago probably has more to do with changes in special education legislation in the early 1990's that increased awareness about ADHD and allowed diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in schools than an increase in individuals with the disorder. Some schools of thought now propose that ADHD is merely a diagnosis given to children to prevent schools and other programs from pigeon-holing young people with a serious mental health diagnosis called Bi-Polar Disorder, when in fact, these young people may well be Bi-Polar. As with all things, one is left with the delimma of which comes first: ADHD or Bi-Polar Disorder.
